Nursing: 24 hour nursing staff is provided. Assistance with medication provided.

Laundry: All clothing must be labeled with names. All personal laundry will be laundered when necessary at no extra cost. Laundry is distributed back to residents within two days of service.

Personal Amenities: Personal amenities may be limited to the Administrators’ discretion due to limited space and will be inventoried upon arrival. A dresser/closet, bed and linens are provided. One television, shared per double room is provided with cable.

Activities: We provide an activity program for all residents that wish to participate. Watch the bulletin board outside of the activity room for special programs and trips.

Personal Shopping: If you need assistance in buying personal items, contact the Activity Director in the Activity office. She will either purchase the items for you or put you on the shopping trip list. Residents will be responsible for the expense of personal items they wish to purchase.

Housekeeping: Housekeeping is provided five days a week. All rooms are pulled and cleaned on a monthly schedule. Residents are responsible for picking up their living spaces.

Dietary: Three scheduled meals daily ­ breakfast, lunch, & dinner. A registered dietitian reviews meal menus quarterly.

Banking: All residents are encouraged to deposit their money in the Business Office. Residents should keep one or two dollars in their possession. Money may be drawn from your account on scheduled banking days. We are not responsible for cash in a Resident’s possession.

Financial Counseling: Resident’s families should contact Administrative Office for information.

Mail: All mail will be distributed at banking time. Saturday’s mail will be delivered on Monday. If you are not in the building when mail is distributed, the mail will be left at the Administrative Office. If you wish to mail a letter, leave it at the Administrative Office Monday thru Friday.

Telephone: A phone is provided for resident use and is located at the entryway of the lobby. The phone is available for local and long distant calls.

Newspaper: One copy for residents to share is provided in the lounge. A resident wishing to subscribe for a newspaper will need to contact the Muncie Star Press or have a family member arrange for a subscription.

Beauty & Barber Shop: Beauty & Barber Shop services can be arranged as needed at the resident’s cost.

Resident Council: As a resident of Rosewood Manor, you are automatically a member of the Resident Council. Please plan to participate. This council gives you an active voice in the facility.

Smoking Policy: Smoking is allowed outside the facility at least 15 feet from the entryway. Tobacco products will be purchased on a monthly basis only at cost of the resident.

Courtesy: A kind word and gesture goes a long way. Please treat your roommate and other Residents as you would like to be treated.
